MAGS logo

This is the logo for the Mackenzie GEWEX Study (MAGS). The design was reached through comments made through the World Wide Web. It depicts the Mackenzie River, partially ice covered, and the Mackenzie Mountains, and features the image of an actual snow crystal collected in the Mackenzie Basin. The arrows on the outside of the logo symbolize the energy and water cycles that are the focus of the MAGS study.
