Abstract, Purpose, and/or Plain Language Summary
This dataset provides fluorescence assay data demonstrating the tunable DNA density of nonthiolated spherical nucleic acids (SNAs). These nonthiolated SNAs were then employed for oxytetracycline detection using UV-vis spectroscopy and for detecting genetically modified soybean using lateral flow assays (LFAs). Signal acquisition was performed with a Tecan Spark multifunctional microplate reader (https://www.tecan.com/spark-overview), with excitation/emission wavelengths set at 467/525 nm for SYBR Green I and 485/520 nm for carboxyfluorescein. Quantitative analysis of the LFA signal intensity data was performed using ImageJ software (https://fiji.sc/).
