Theme E: User Community Outreach and Engagement
Theme Lead: Graham Strickert (University of Saskatchewan)
Outreach Coordinator: Stacey Dumanski (University of Saskatchewan)
Theme E has a central goal to build a community of users including policy and decision makers, stakeholders and rights holders, and research scientists and organizations, both nationally and internationally. This aspect of the programme enhances the engagement and knowledge flow between the network and its partners and facilitates the transfer of improved scientific and decision making tools needed for water resource management and climate adaptation and mitigation strategies.
Our Twitter and Facebook pages provide ongoing and up-to-date information on network activities and developments. We have developed a series of plain language and graphically illustrated information products to highlight some aspects of our research. Our annual science reports, briefings, and newsletters provide further information on network activities and progress. Workshops and meetings provide excellent opportunities to interact with our partners, collaborators, and other stakeholders.
