The archived precipitation data for 16 synoptic stations in the Mackenzie Basin study area have been corrected using Version 1.0 of a correction algorithm described by Metcalfe, et al.. The correction was applied to 6-hour precipitation data.
The correction algorithm is currently being refined and will be applied to a larger station set.
