- Carl Bruinsma, BSc Computing Science - King's University College. Worked part-time for three months on software routine to extract sounding data for moisture analysis in DRI; this experience was helpful in him obtaining a job in his field upon graduation.
- John Hanley, BSc Economics - University of Alberta. Part-time software development for DRI work, commencing May/07.
- Chris Peters, BSc Geography - University of Calgary. Part-time technical assistant paid by A-GAME CFCAS funds, Jan-Mar/07, but data processing results equally used in DRI through collaboration. Compared GPS and soil moisture data for central Alberta, applications to evapotranspiration estimates and drought monitoring. This experience instrumental in his obtaining job immediately on graduation April/07.
- Nyree Sharp, BSc Environmental Biology - University of Alberta. Part-time technical assistant for DRI Feb/07 to Present, processing 1971-2005 climate data, plus 1998-2004 drought period.

- Dr. Youssef Loukili: Working full time on modifications and parallel programming, and is interacting with Dr. Ken Snelgrove and his students
